2025 Awards Night

Every year, the Capital City Chorus hosts an awards Banquet, to recognize and reward members of our group that have gone above and beyond. A chorus is more than just a weekly meeting to rehearse as a group: it is a community that requires participation from its members to thrive. It is also an opportunity for us to highlight what we did good during the year and give warm kuddos to the people involved. The night was one of laughter and singing with great food, in great company. Our past president Wayne Crosby also passed on the torch to our new chief Bill Panter although we are not sure he is not thinking of reneging after seeing the mug that comes with the title... Singing Valentines 2026 a success!

| For our traditional singing telegram event "Singing Valentines" we had 4 quartets roaming the Ottawa region to surprise people on this day of love. They visited retirement and personal homes bringing songs, roses, chocolates... smiles and a few tears too! It is always a very special event for us too, impromptu quartets forming just for the day because it is so much fun to spread love to people. Pair that with what we love best - singing barbershop - and we just can't say no. Keep an eye on our facebook page around January next year to book your telegram early! Thank you so much Ottawa and see you next year! |

Coaching with Jordan Travis

| We had a fantastic coaching session with Jordan Travis on Aug 23, 2025. After 4 hours of intensive work on our two contest songs for the upcoming district convention in October, we should be positioned to perform well. Thanks Jordan! |
